Dr Ian Baker is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist specialising in Acute adult neuropsychology. He is currently working at the Russell Cairns Unit and before that at the Rivermead Rehabilitation Centre, both in Oxford. His first degree was from St Andrew’s University and he went on to gain a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Cambridge University, an Advanced Diploma of Psychology from Oxford Brookes University and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Plymouth University. He completed his clinical training at Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust. Ian has undertaken extensive research in his field and has been awarded the Encephalitis Society Research Prize. He is currently supervising University of Oxford clinical psychology doctoral dissertation candidates. His studies have been widely published, including articles in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry and Cognitive and Behavioural Neurology.
